Moving back to Texas next year in the Houston area and the cities I have been looking at are Katy, Spring, Montgomery and sugarland. Out of these cities which would you choose and why? I will be buying a house. I've never even been to Houston so this will be a huge help. Orginally from San Antonio.

I'm planning on moving back to Texas next year but Houston this time. Originally from San Antonio. I have a few questions.

How much do I need to worry about hurricanes every year? Do people usually board up their windows on their houses. Are there certain cities on the outskirts of Houston that aren't affected as much? Other than Hurricanes any thing I should know before moving to Houston that could be useful knowledge to me?
