I just need an outside leaky faucet replaced.
Called 8 places, and they didn’t want any part of it.
Whatever.
Called one guy, and there was a fee to come out.
Ok.
Guy gets there and says it’s 500.
It’s not emplaced in a wall but a standalone faucet that I couldn’t do myself because it is really stuck on there.
No.
I called a couple of others, and they wanted 300.
A bit more reasonable, but damn.
Heaven forbid I need any major plumbing emergencies.
Is this the new normal?
