When i found out we were hiring our new GM from the Tampa Bay Rays org, i was like great he's going to turn us into a organization of budget beast and not spend any money on players (like the rays have been doing since their existence) . We've only signed ryne stanek who isnt a bad bullpen piece. I think luhnow would have at least tried to re sign springer or brantley and even tried to get realmuto or a bauer type signing. I really hope he doesnt mimic the bill obrien and run this franchise into the ground, we need to make a splash . Our window is only slightly open anymore , we need more pieces to contend for another title
