I’m planning a really special date night with my wife, and I thought that it would make it even more special if we both rented some expensive formal wear (neither of us own any). I can’t afford to purchase her a dress for say $5,000, but for a special night I figure we could rent one for whatever it costs. Let me preface this by saying that we both have good jobs and are very financially savvy people, so please no responses telling me that I am wasting my money. I just want this to be a special night and we don’t do this often.

A quick search on google showed me one place but I was hoping the people here could provide some recommendations, and also maybe share some experience doing this as I’ve never rented any formal wear before. I don’t know where we would go for my (male) formal wear but I assume finding her (female) dress is a more difficult task.
