I'm a recent college grad and I'm really excited to move to Houston. I have a friend who grew up there that's told me a lot about it. Living downtown seems really interesting but I'm worried about the commute and my friend's negative description of life downtown.

Does anybody have any advice about it? I've been looking at Montrose, Midtown, and Medical for downtown or Seabrook or League City for the suburbs.
