My wife and I were rewriting our will. We have no kids and thought the process would be a piece of cake using NOLO software.

I was reviewing the Harris county probate court's website and realized that we are way over our heads. We never knew the process could be so complicated. We are trying to make the process for our executor as painless as possible. Reading the FAQ's on the Probate courts website makes it sound like a lawyer is a must even if your wishes are clear and your estate is simple.
