3/13 – Volunteers Needed for post Winter Storm Uri Clean Up
Calling all volunteers to action!! We are looking for 10-15 volunteers to assist with clean-up for a fellow senior citizen Texan.
Scott S. was a dedicated teacher and fellow Texan Jaycee for several years who served his communities and hometown of Houston for many years. Currently, he is retired. Now, it is our turn to help him in his time of need!! During the winter storms that tore through Texas, his entire home burnt down and he lost everything. He has no homeowner’s insurance
To give back to him, we will be going as a group to help clean-up his house on Saturday. Clean-up process could include removal of drywall, trash removal, and flooring.
Date: Saturday, March 13th
Start Time: 10:00 AM – 2:30 PM

You can’t make it the full time, come for however long you can!
Volunteer Items:- Working Gloves- Thick work boots or Rubber boots- Long pants or shorts- Any tools – shovels, towels, or wheelbarrows can be brought! It will help speed up the cleaning process.
Provided to volunteers- Water bottles- Snacks- Lunch
If you can’t be there the whole time, that’s ok. Come when you can!
