Houston Fire chief just stated they had multiple calls for a compression/trample event near the front of the crowd at Astroworld tonight. There were almost a dozen cardiac arrest reports and 8 confirmed fatalities.

There is a reunification center open at the Wyndham on Kirby drive for people who have not made contact with friends or family who are not accounted for. They say they don't have positive identification on all the victims from tonight.

Saturday's concert and events has been cancelled.
