Relocating to Houston for work. Family lives outside of Dallas. Is there any city or town in between that's a nice place to live? Thanks in advance.

Edit: I only have to go in the office once a week, but have to live within a certain radius (150 miles) so I don't mind a commute less than 2 hours.
