My Sergeant Major appointed me one of the leaders in charge of our dining out ball, and expects 4000 soldiers and their families in attendance. Other than NRG, George R Brown, or the Sugar Land Convention Center, are there any venues in Houston proper or up to one hour's drive outside of Houston that would accommodate that amount of people? Needs to be indoors because it's slated for May of 2024, and well, rain. Sit down banquet style dinner with enough space at the front and down the middle for pageantry. Thanks in advance.

Edit: I am a CPT in a BDE for those of you who know. I have barely enough sway to manage expectations to those I report to, and no decision making power regarding end results.
