Hello! I am a high school English teacher and I have some students who speak "only" Pashto and Farsi (and one of them Punjabi as well, I believe). As you can probably imagine, communication is a struggle. Anybody know of any low-cost night schools around or reasonably effective learning apps (haven't found anything yet in that vein) that could help me learn at least a little? Neither language is on Duolingo, unfortunately.

I have a bad habit of letting Google Maps eat up all of my free time, and noticed that Kingwood has what looks like an exceptional network of bike paths. From my little bit of playing around on Google Maps, it looks like you can ride to either the middle or the high school from about 85% of homes in Kingwood without any significant portion of your trip on a car road.

Being the jealous type, I'm wondering - to what extent to kids/families take advantage of this?
