I’ve been listening to the Roula & Ryan show since I was a kid, and they were on Mix 96.5. It was a weird staple of my childhood where my mom and I would listen to Roses and my mom would talk about how she couldn’t stand Roula’s voice. Ah, memories.
Since then, I would listen to them on my way to work in the mornings (I’m now 30) and still enjoy it for the most part, apart from growing increasingly more annoyed by Ryan and hating almost everything that comes out of his mouth. I then started listening to the podcasts, since I started a work from home job over a year ago. Now we’re at the pandemic stage, where they’re all broadcasting from home and the main staples of the listening week (Roses, Revenge) are all repeats.
So, my point being, as I’ve had some time away, I think I may be done with the show? I read somewhere where the Roses segments were faked and yaddah yaddah, and that always stuck with me, and now I kind of hear it. Why would the receiving party on Roses sign off on that being aired? Or the Revenge segment. Doesn’t make sense.
Plus I can’t stand Ryan.
