Over-all are the Texans a worse or better team this season?

...I am fairly certain the offense has improved a bit and will look quite different compared to last season.

We have so much speed at WR right now its almost ridiculous...3 out of our starting 4 run 40s in the mid to low 4.3s, all of them highly skilled and proven. We finally have a decent slot receiver in Cobb. Both of our starting running backs are elite pass catchers. We have one of the best red-zone tight ends in the NFL...and we maintained a decent o-line.

I like the idea of a pass heavy offense with speedsters. It works for the Chiefs it will work for the Texans. A successful passing attack will open things up for David Johnson to gain yards on the ground... just a couple years ago he was the best running back in the league no question. If he returns to form, and the team can stay healthy, this will, in my opinion, be the best offense the texans franchise has ever seen.

Watson should have a career year with so many weapons at his disposal. even if Fuller goes down, Cooks possesses a very similar skill-set so our offense shouldn't look near as bad as it has when Fuller was out.. When the Texans are fully healthy, I imagine the offense will be a mismatch nightmare for opposing teams.

Defensively... It feels like we didnt get much better or worse. Hopefully someone here can post better thoughts and predictions about the defense. my knowledge here is admittedly lacking... I know we lost Reader who was a HUGE part of our d-line. We have a new defensive coordinator which is huge, we lost more than a couple games last year thanks to the overly conservative play-calling of Romeo. Hopefully Weaver can get it done. Through training camp and scrimmages so far, it seems the defense wont be all that bad. I'll say we slightly improved here. In any case I don't think we will see as dramatic a change here as we will with the offense.

Over-all I think we have a better team this year that will be fun to watch. What are your thoughts?
