Does anyone else notice this bug/feature on Dan Crenshaw’s page?
On Dan Crenshaw’s “Email me” page at house.gov
It says it has a limit of 500 characters. I condensed my original letter to 480 characters…still rejected.
I put my letter through two application based word processors, then an online one, each time the count came to 442 when his website said I had 522; an inflation of 80 characters.
The only way I was able to get it through was condensing it to 416 characters. I attempted all this on my laptop, reattempted on mobile; this inflated character count seems be true on all devices I’ve tested from. Trying to make sure I ain’t the one mistaken here.
