Baybrook Mall

Feeling nostalgic – my kid wanted to go today to choose presents. The mall had tons of people but if not for some XL ornaments in Macy’s you hardly would’ve known it was Christmastime. I remember being a kid in the 90s and the place was dripping with decorations and there was a mile long line to the elaborate Santa Wonderland. I remember one year they even had real reindeer in the parking lot 😅 There was a Santa today but with just a chair and a backdrop and one single family waiting in line. Are other malls sterile like this now or does anywhere still go all out?
