I've posted here in the past

We have now been seeing a GI specialist in the Ertan Digestive Disease Center at Memorial Hermann who is supposedly some big shot important guy. However, in our first consultation he didn't seem too interested in the whole range of symptoms, talked in really high-level terms that were hard to understand, ordered a test, never called with results, we had to call to get answers and that in itself was difficult....and my gf's symptoms are getting worse. Now it's another TWO weeks to get a damn teleconference for a follow up, which WE had to push for.

Her quality of life has significantly decreased in the last year and more in the last few months. We are both so drained from this, having no clear path to recovery or even maintenance. My girlfriend has been reduced to a smoothie only diet.

Is it always like this, and I just don't know? or should I be searching for another doctor already? I'm young and have never gone through something like this. Thankfully we have decent insurance.

Looking for Memorial Hermann related Gi's for insurance purposes. But I will take any other recs as I will literally pay out of pocket at this point for someone that will take her on.
