Hi, I'm getting my helix (cartilage) pierced for my left ear and am unsure as to where to go in Houston/or nearby regions. I've got highly sensitive skin, low pain tolerance and am immunocompromised so I'd like to go somewhere that's hygienic and is thorough with their work.

I've heard horror stories of people bleeding profusely because the simple procedure was done improperly or not being given any aftercare instructions, so I'm willing to pay the extra $$$ and go somewhere more pricy or high-end to avoid this at all costs. This is a birthday/weight loss milestone gift for myself so I want it to turn out ok. :d

If you know anywhere, please let me know (not Claire's tho LOL). And if you've gone their personally, lmk your experience or if you've a family member or friend that owns a shop-- then I'm all ears!! Literally lol
