I know we’re all onboard for a well-paced rebuild, but I think it’d be worth it in this situation. We all consider this a “prove it” year for Mills, but how is he gonna do that with this group of skill players? By trading two second rounders now, you can see if Mills is the answer or if we need to use those first rounders on QB next year.

Just a random thought, probably not thinking it through all the way. But what if teams decide that they’d rather wait until after the NFL completes its investigation and what punishment they decide before taking on Watson’s contract? If he gets 6 games or a whole season, wouldn’t they rather him be on our books and paying that instead of taking it on themselves?
