Hello! I just moved to Houston from Austin and live in the second ward near the start of the trail.

According to other reddit threads - albeit old reddit threads - the trail, once you get across the highway to the third ward, can get pretty hairy. Heard from my girlfriend's friend that young punks have been known to set up trip wires on the trail to jack ppl.

Just trying to see if there's anywhere I can comfortably run ~4 miles besides buffalo bayou without worrying too hard.
