So forget all the fire BoB/Crennel stuff, as it looks like nothing will change and this isn’t a thread for people to bitch.
So even if you don’t believe it, what are the positives that give us hope for next season and beyond?
I know there’s the obvious like hopefully having Fuller healthy, Watson has a full healthy year under his belt, etc., but I guess I’m referring more to things like:
- What makes this defense successful under a 72 year old coordinator?
- What are the positives in having a HC that is also the GM and the offensive coordinator?
- What were we missing last year that we think will be improved next year (either because guys are healthy or we think we’ll sign key needs during the off-season)?
I can’t say I’m very optimistic right now, but I’m not an intense football strategist so I’d love to know that there’s a path forward to the next level other than just wishful thinking. Like others, I want to put this year behind me and be excited about next year.
