Due to a Covid outbreak at work I now have to work remotely. Does anyone know of good quiet coffee shops around? All the coffee shops I typically visit (Siphon, B&N) tend to be quite noisy, and I really need peace and quiet to do my work—something I can’t get at my apartment during the day.

There’s several options here but IDK if there’s a consensus on which is best.

When I was a kid, my dad lived in a nice suburb. Directly behind his house, and across the street, was a McDonald’s and gas station combined.

This was in Sugar Land, or at least near enough for my dad to refer to it as “Sugar Land.”

However, after Googling it I can’t find it. Does anyone know where this could be?

It’s of course entirely possible that it’s not even a McDonald’s anymore, but was thinking someone might know of this location regardless.
