How to make it through summer with kids?

My husband and I are starting to talk about what this summer looks like if nothing is open where we can take our toddlers. No museums, no parks.

We have a very small patio that they can play on, and we’re fortunate that the sidewalk around our block is nice enough to push a stroller around, but as it gets hotter, I know that outside time is going to be limited. We have a small apartment, so there’s not really room for them to run around indoors. (We’ve already made it as toddler safe as possible, including removing all the chairs in the house and getting rid of our coffee table after some injuries.)

I guess what I’m wondering is…what’s everyone’s plan? I’m staring down months of this and I’m getting increasingly worried.
