Is $40K net on a single income enough to live comfortably in Houston?
Single, no kids, mostly a homebody, don’t really order anything online nor do I shop a lot, no debt,, and have enough for a 20% down-payment for a home in the $300K range. Main reason why I’m interested in houston is the low priced homes and ethnic diversity. Can I live comfortably? Also I’m coming from San Jose, CA and am looking to get out of CA in general into a low cost of living state with diversification.
