Called them today, they said they were going out of business. This call was triggered by a broker trying to trick my wife into signing a contract even though we are under contract with Entrust for another 2.5 years. What is going on?? I get that energy companies are going under because ERCOT is charging them like f**k, but how true are this broker's claims? Apparently entrust is selling off contracts to a new energy company, but to an ERCOT last provider of choice? I don't appreciate brokers lying to my wife trying to trick her into signing a contract when Entrust hasn't said anything to us YET but I REALLY don't want to be sold off to someone charging exorbitant rates. Anyone have a clue?
