Hi,

There are swimming pools with classes for children and novice adults, but I couldn't find anything for an experienced swimmer, who's been practicing for a triathlon.

I'm looking for a place for running and training exercise.

Is there a chance that one school football field is available for it?

I've just received the bill with the following line:

• Customer charge ~$20

As per their definition:

Customer charge and base amount. Covers fixed costs for reading meters, issuing bills, maintaining facilities and gas lines, postage, etc. These costs occur even if you do not use gas during a billing period.

Does any of you know how they get this value?

Why it is $20 and not $200 or $2000?

Have we signed up to pay such 'charges'?

p.s. I haven't been able to get any reasonable information from their customer service.

We've explained what the charge is for and how it's governed and approved by The Texas Railroad Commission. We've answered your question to the best of our ability.

Looking for a piece of advice.

If you've been going to rent a house and need to buy some appliances (e.g. fridge, washing machine, drying machine), what would you do?

We don't have a truck so the options with delivery in higher priority.

Folks, this is our first year in the U.S. and we're really curious how do people afford to live in such expensive houses like in River Oaks (2mm, 5mm, 10mm)?

Is it a place where businessmen, sportsmen, and senior managers live? It is not envy, we're just very interested and didn't have a chance to ask the locals.

These houses are so shiny that I have a constant feeling that they are all for sale. Property taxes for most of these houses literally exceed our annual wages :)

I'd rather give these bottles away for recycling than just throw them out. Suggestions?
