Traffic ticket and defensive driving question

I just went to the Municipal court to dismiss my first traffic ticket in 6 years. I paid the fee for it and got the paperwork signed and such. Now I’m wondering if I need to go back and pay for my traffic ticket or if dismissing it for defensive driving means that the dismissal fee/DD course fee is all I have to pay for.

They didn’t specify it and I don’t want to get a warrant for not paying my ticket.

Forgot to change my address for my Voter Registration Card

I feel stupid because I changed my address on my drivers license but somehow did not remember to switch it over on the voter card since I did it all online. I voted early in 2018 but I think it was a week or two in the new house so my license was the old address. I stayed in Harris county.
Is there any way to still vote?
Someone said you could fill out a statement of residency form at the polling place but I’m not sure how accurate that is.
