Not sure if this is the best place to get answers, but I figured I'd start somewhere. I am a local Houstonian looking to pick up littered syringes to help clean up the community and keep people safe. I haven't had much luck seeing any volunteer efforts to do this, so I decided to just start doing it myself. I'm wondering if anyone has leads on areas of Houston where this kind of clean up would be really useful. I have some ideas myself but wanted to see what anyone knew. If you don't feel comfortable posting it publicly, feel free to PM me.

I previously worked in the hazardous waste industry as a field chemist, so this is something I am comfortable doing. If anyone would also be interested in getting involved, feel free to reach out as well :)
