So I got a HCTRA violation letter, and I noticed that the car in the photo was some type of Dodge Charger (I drive a Prius), but it had the same license plates I have on my car. Surprisingly though, my plates are still on my car, so they are not officially stolen. Is it possible someone copied my license plate? I'm guessing I'll have to report my plates stolen, and as a $7 fee, it's not going to ruin my day, but has anyone come across this or know what to do?
