Visiting Houston from California and so far it has not been too enjoyable. We came down for an event in the area, not specifically for Houston but we decided to stay a few days anyway. Not only is the weather here so musty but it’s completely unreliable. According to yesterday’s weather report it was supposed to be raining throughout today and be 5 degrees cooler than it is.

The city in general seems poorly maintained with a lack of bathrooms and trash cans. The homeless here are just as prevalent in my home city. The roads and especially the sidewalks here are cracked and lack proper signage. The roads rage, honking, entitlement on the road is just a headache.

So far the attractions we’ve visited have been closed or just subpar. We will be going to an Astros game.

Any suggestions to redeem this trip: restaurants, amusements, shows, things outside of Houston?
