1837-39 Copper Intaglio Printing Block "A View of Houston. Capital of Texas" Artist Unkown. 14" x 12.5" – A 5×6 print of this is in the Museum of Fine Arts Houston Collection. I would love to know who the artist is.

Houston was only the capital between 1837 and 1839 before it was moved to Texas. How amazing that this was made during that time period almost 200 years ago. submitted by /u/Fickle_Weird [link] [comments]
