My warm water in west third ward smells like an old bucket of snails left in sea water. Some people here are saying bacteria some are saying added chemicals. I decided if the water treatment plant says its safe to continue using it...

But is it safe to do a nasal rinse with this strange water or would I just make nasal infection worse. I've been rinsing the past couple days and now red is coming out when I nasal rinse and my sinuses feel much worse. Not sure if I should ramp up the rinses or stop them all together.
