Hey guys,

My husband and I started a nonprofit organization called Get Outside Alliance based in Houston. Our goal is to build advocates for our state parks through impactful volunteering events. So far we helped out Galveston State Park, Huntsville State Park, Brazos Bend. We helped to rebuild their campsites, install picnic tables and fire rings, general clean ups and any other help we could provide to support Texas park rangers. Next month we are helping Garner State Park and Blanco State Park with their revitalization effort. Next projects would also include Bastrop, Dinosaur Valley, Palo Pinto.

The organization is growing rapidly. That’s great because it shows how much people really would love to get outside and enjoy our beautiful parks.

I was hoping someone can give us great ideas on what organizations would be interested in two things

1) Finding more volunteers

2) Sponsorships and donations

Please let me know. I’d appreciate specific organizations, companies, people, contacts or just ideas in general 🙂
