Hello all, I am moving to Houston in about a month or so, and I just wanted to ask…

How big of a problem are snakes/spiders being in your house? I am from one of the northernmost locations in Michigan, where anything that lives here gets knocked out by our 9 months of below freezing temperatures so I am definitely not used to the snakes, spiders, etc… By biggest question is how often do you have large spiders inside say, an apartment? And how about snakes?

Obviously we have spiders and snakes here too, but the snakes here are so safe I pick them up and carry them around until I find them a safer place to be, and spiders are usually the same way! Anyways, I’m getting the major creepy crawlies from reading articles about this stuff and I want to know how likely I am to encounter something in the energy corridor area while I’m living there for about 4 months.
