CNC milling needed

Hey guys,

I’m a student at the university of Houston looking to get 2 3’x6′ pieces of mdf milled into a 1:500 site model (nothing crazy with topo, just streets and a water front). The machine shop on campus usually would be able to do something like this for fairly affordable prices though two of our faculty members just quit and now there is no one who knows how to set up the file or machine the parts. I’m looking to see if anyone knows of any companies that would be able to help out a group of students and maybe give us an educational discount as well ( I know how pricey cncing can be) or if there are any hobbyists in the area with a bed big enough to help us out.

Any thoughts or leads would be amazing,

Best way to go about selling artwork?

Hey everyone,

I’m not an art aficionado, or knowledgeable at all in that world. I was gifted a 36″x80″ resin/gemstone artwork several years ago that is now just getting too big to keep and store. The art from this artist has sold in the past for several thousand of dollars. Im not looking to upsell the artwork or have to pay a commission to an art dealer, mainly looking to get some money back for the artwork and maybe sell it to someone in town seeing as how it is a local artist as well. I was wondering if anyone might know of a way I can do this.
