What could be a legit reason for a Houston police officer to take a headshot image worth his cell phone during a routine traffic stop?

This happened to me on Thursday. I didn’t ask at the time, and it’s been nagging at me since. His cell phone was held in position where his body cam would have view of the screen. Other than the photograph, nothing was less that perfectly professional and very courteous. I’m just trying to determine what could have been the point of that.

Note: I’m a middle aged woman who was wearing ugly work clothes. While my family thinks that I’m adorable, I’m pretty sure the rest of the planet would disagree.
