Does anyone have recommendations for glasses stores? Mine just snapped in half while giving them a gentle wipe.

Is there anywhere y’all recommend for the best looking glasses? I think I’ve bought my last 2 pairs at vision source greenway plaza but I’d like to check out other stores.

When I’ve looked somewhere discount like America’s best I think the frames are pretty ugly. It’s the only thing I wear daily and it’s right on my damn face so I do care about looks. Anything other than Oliver Peoples, $500 a frame is too damn much.

Is there any public transportation to Galveston or a cheap shuttle?

I found this island express from metro but one article states it ended service in 2018. Also it’s weekdays only.

I’ve found several references to an Amtrak bus that’s 1:15 to 2:45 daily but I can’t find anything about it on the Amtrak.
