It’s been years since I went to the HLSR, and now I have kids and want to bring them! They are both under 6 years old. I’ve been seeing random people on FB post 1/2 price carnival packs for sale online and wondering if those are legit. I assume so- the website is at https://secure.rodeohouston.com/CarnivalTickets , but I guess I’m just paranoid.

My other question is how many tickets do each of the rides and games usually cost? Will a $10 half price carnival pack be enough for 2 kids or should I get two of them? Is it worth it to buy the $20 carnival food card too?

I read in one of the threads that parking is terrible. Terrible as in… have to park very far away? Or the price ($20)? Or hard to find parking period?

My birthday is in September, and I was thinking MAYBE, just maybe, if there’s no terrible new vaccine-resistant COVID variant at that time, I could conceivably go to the symphony or ballet for my birthday this year. Then I looked up Houston Symphony and Houston Ballet but oops, they only have performances in the spring. Does anyone know of any good companies or groups that perform in Houston in the fall? TIA

Looking to buy a mobile home for a family member, roughly 900-1200 sq ft, decent quality and not too old (2000 or newer). Where’s the best place to look?? Have already looked at Facebook marketplace and Craiglist… Thanks
