Hey all,

I'm interested in getting a home with some space, at least 1 acre, that is a little secluded from lots of neighbors. My dream is to get a place with enough room for some chickens and goats, but still be able to commute to my job in downtown. Ideally the the commute would be less than 1 hour.

Can anyone think of a place where this might be possible? I was thinking maybe Alvin or Crosby might work.

Was also thinking maybe try to find a new job North of town and move to a place like Magnolia or Conroe if that is more realistic.

EDIT: not sure why almost every comment is downvoted... this subreddit used to be pretty nice 5 years ago or so
