Anyone out there bank at TDECU and having online banking issues? I reached out to the bank and haven't heard back, but it's not updating with direct deposits. Curious if it's just me.

I got a legitimate email from a new electric company provider today that they had my contract. I checked and it's legit, my old company is showing it as inactive. Everything else is the same. Has anyone else had this happened? I didn't realize companies could shop out your contract to others.

This is a very specific question, but I can't find answers anywhere online.

HISD teachers, how quickly after getting hired did you get your contract? My husband has already done everything in their new hire process and is just waiting for his contract. We are anxious for it to be finalized.

Why does the public not hold schools accountable in Houston/Texas?

I came from another red state (Georgia) and any time something happened in a school - a teacher was inappropriate with a student, an admin fired someone for the wrong reasons, a kid brought a weapon to school - it was all over the news and the schools made changes.

That doesn't seem to happen here. I'm a former teacher in Alief and I know while I was there, stuff went down - everything I mentioned above - but no accountability. I know it happens in other schools & ISDs.

Where's the accountability?
