I’m just curious as to why Texas has a limit on the times alcohol can be purchased? It kinda seems arbitrary.

I’m looking for a place where I can play darts (not steel tip). Also, if this place would be okay serving virgin drinks then that would be an added bonus. It’s been a while since I last played and want to get back into it.

Call me an absolute cynic (it would be apropos) but I’m just waiting on these funds being used on more deleterious highway expansions instead of reducing wait times at bus stops and increasing the number and scope of routes.

I’m wondering if the city has any free inpatient medical care where I can get the medication and medical observation I need to quit alcohol. I’ve been drinking heavily for over a decade and now that I’m in my 30’s I finally want to quit for my own sake. I’m NOT looking for Jesus or a 12 step program. I WANT to quit but am having the shakes pretty badly when I tried to quit several times over the past month or so. To clarify further, I need medication and observation during my detox.

Is this available or is it a luxury item here in Houston.

I don’t have a car. So, I walk everywhere. That being so, I see a LOT of homeless dogs. I don’t want to call the Catcher because I don’t want them in a shelter that kills. Is there any way I can help these dogs without involving kill shelters?

I rent a room so I can’t take them on myself.
