Not too long ago I posted looking for people to join a Fantasy book club and got a pretty decent response. I created a discord and thought I would share it for anyone who wants to participate but can't meet up in person.

Our first book was chosen randomly from a list of fantasy books, yay chaos! We will be reading Nights at the Circus by Angela Carter and splitting the book in half to discuss bimonthly. However, discord will be a bit more freeform. Its the first online forum I am running and really participating in so please bear with me as I figure out the best way to manage it.

Anyhow, I hope to "see" some of yall there!

As the title says, I am looking to find a few people interested in a monthly book club with a focus on fantasy books. Ideally, we could meet once a month on a weekday during the day. I know that's a stretch but one can dream and try to make it happen. While I am a long-time D&D player, I have not read much in the genre and would love to do so with others. I figure we can choose books based either on group vote or each take a turn picking one out.

Pretty flexible on the meeting-up aspect, just looking to get out there and read some books and talk about it with others. FWIW, I am a 33 yo female. Open to anyone so long as they enjoy reading, the only limitation is 18+ unless showing up with a parent. Books are for everyone!

Just left micro center, its not listed online, but they have more than a few MSI 1050tis for $300 in stock.

Sure, they arent the best, but they are there and you don't have to fight for them. My friend and I stared at the display box questioning whether or not it was real.

If you need a card, don't have a huge budget, and don't want to wait for the lottery, head to Micro Center. Like I said, I didn't see it online, but they had maybe 20 boxes in store.
