I'm riding till the end with this old R22 system and I asked my trusted AC guy for a quote. He said around 8500 for a 3 ton complete system. Same system was like 6K 2 years ago. He told me he would love to sell me a new system but mine is working good and he didnt think it was unreasonable to take my chances. Now I wish I would have spent 6000 before covid lol. What have you guys paid? I am hoping thing will cool down (no pun intended) but I am also scared it will be 9500 next year.

Where is the best place to go these days? I haven't gotten tested in quite some time but I need one to travel soon. I would prefer a drive thru if they still exist as opposed to an office visit. I saw Houston does those testing booths but theyre PCR and it took too long to come back last time.

I usually use Methodist for emergencies but MH had the nearest pediatric ER so my dr directed me to take my child there. The reason I ask, is Methodist sends you one bill every month for 90 days. After that they send some red letter that looks like its a collection notice but its not. It is just a separate dept of the hospital billing dept. At this point they will gladly take 50 cents on the dollar. Before this point all they will offer you is 20 percent off their already outrageous prices. Not here to debate our shitty medical system. If you don't pay after the red letter then it goes to real collections.

I have done this with several ER bills, surgery, even my child's delivery for Methodist. I have insurance and am employed so I don't ever qualify for any forgiveness or whatever assistance they have. I also cant afford to pay 1200 dollars for a dr to look at my child and tell us pretty much nothing.

Has anyone had similar luck with Memorial Hermann or are they just going to screw my credit up after a few months? Any insight would be appreciated.

I'm taking my daughter to a tour of MMP tomorrow. Any good spots for lunch that are family friendly? Has to be more of a restaurant than a bar obviously. I've been to a few bars before games but never really ate anywhere.

Was planning on picking up a postseason hat at the game today to send to an out of town friend/fan... but looking at the televised games and MLB shop, there is no postseason branded jerseys or hats this year? All I'm seeing is the clench shirts. What gives?
