[Rome] The Astros are showing interest in free-agent left-hander Eric Lauer, source tells @TheAthletic. Lauer opted out of his deal with the Pittsburgh Pirates last week. Would be a minor-league deal with Houston if it gets done, providing sorely needed starting pitching depth.
