Before the Crosby slander starts let me give you guys a little background information. I currently live in the Central Florida Orlando area and have been for most of my life . I have been looking at relocating to the Huston metro more specifically the Humble / Atascocita or Crosby Texas areas (I know you guys are full …..but it’s time for a change) been doing a lot of online research there is little to no information or videos on living in the Crosby area. I’m wondering if that’s a good or bad thing?

The reason I ask is because I grew up in a part of central Florida 30-40 minutes’ drive from Orlando, that in the 90s was considered rural and too far out with nothing around. Now that same area is one of the most booming locations in central Florida. Just to put it in perspective my parents bought their first home on 99 for 90k that same house is now worth 400k. I’m really looking for an area like that, I love how I grew up and seeing a place grow from somewhat rural and now is booming with development soo I’m looking to recreate that and find a place in the Huston metro that’s on the cusp of booming and just a little outside of Huston. I don’t mind being 10-15 years early to the party.

Before you guys say Florida is soo great and and yes I love going to the beach and yes I moderately enjoy the theme parks (btw those of us who have been going to Disney since the 90s will tell you that you used to be able to get a full park in one day …. Now it’s almost a waste of time and your lucky to get on 3 rides in one day)

But nonetheless I am looking to relocate for these reasons.

1. Housing Affordability. I have been looking to buy a house for over 5 years and housing has gotten out of control in Florida and even though prices have gone up in Huston there are still options under 250.. unheard of in Central Florida

2. Industry. Central Florida is mostly centered around hospitality and the lowest paying jobs

3. The climate and demographics are largely similar

4. More cultural influences… Florida is a transplant state

Soo is Crosby the place I should be looking at or am I crazy for considering it? Is there another place that should be on my list? Lemme know
