Not a huge baseball fan, but got a great deal on a Verlander jersey a year or two ago ($20) and have been wearing it since on big games since I think he's a badass. Now that Verlander left the Astros, is it still socially acceptable to wear his jersey or should I find something else? He did win two championships for us, but he also left so I'm not sure what the general mood is.

Eyeing a Nolan Ryan tequila sunrise throwback if I can't wear the Verlander jersey anymore.
