I had a hard time doing this but here is my Best Astros players at each position who never played in the Astros.Minor Leagues. except for rehab assignments, which don’t count.

Eulogy : Farewell Carlos . It was great watching your sly smile, smooth swing and cannon for an arm. A combination we may not see anytime soon again.

As an Astros fan (40+ years), Carlos helped give me my highest high in sports fandom. Unfortunately, Carlos was part of a scandal that tarnished some of my pride in the accomplishment…but it can not take away the joy that moment gave me. Good luck on your new adventures; it’s now time for me to move on.

Let’s go, Astros, take it again in ’22.

Further thoughts on the future without Carlos:

No issues for me with Crane and Click. They tried over the last year. When someone hires Boras right before Free sgency is not just working with your current club, it’s about ego and $$$.

I’m slightly disappointed by the loss, but it’s over, and I am excited to see the young guys play now. This team still has the talent to compete and if can. We have money to better the team in the season.

This Is a tough one since you have Gurriel. Brantley and Alvarez all have excellent seasons but now that Tucker has a batting average neaering .300 his name has to be mentioned as maybe one of the best on the team…and it seems he flies under the radar as he isn’t flashy.
