Has anyone ever lived at Estates at Memorial Heights? Location: 616 Memorial Heights Dr, Houston, TX 77007

My husband and I are moving to Houston and want to be near downtown/Washington Ave., as my co-workers say that is the place to be for young professionals. At this particular apartment complex, we are reading on Google that many people have gotten their cars broken into. The leasing agent told us she knows of 3 incidents in the last month.

My question is- is this standard in a large (400+ units) complex close to downtown? Or is this unusual for Houston? We are willing to adjust our expectations for whatever the norm is, I just don't know what "normal" is for the area.
