I am between 3 gyms to join that are either close to home (Montrose) or work (Greenway Plaza)

The gyms are

  1. LA Fitness - price is right but all the Google reviews make it sound pretty terrible
  2. Life Time - gives me sticker shock for price plus reviews are mixed about staff and recent price hikes
  3. Timberline Fitness Studio - price is in the middle of both above gyms (after an initial fee) but it seems pretty focused on personal training which isn't that much of a priority for me right now.

I'm curious if any of you have used any of these gyms and have positive or negative opinions of them.
