Read MoreTwo days ago, I felt a sharp stinging pain in my toe. Like stepping into a needle or a knife cutting me or something like that. I was walking barefoot in our house. I saw no insect or anything sharp on the ground. I sat down to examine my foot and saw nothing except maybe small black points that I thought were dirt or dust (still think so).
Two days later, that toe is swollen and has been consistently itchy. I see a small pointy bite mark when I press onto my toe. Something bit me but I don’t know what! I am German and didn’t grow up here so I am not at all familiar with Houston insects. Does anyone have an idea what that could be?
I am not worried about it really because it’s not crazy swollen or anything but the itchiness is very annoying. Does anyone have any advice?
