Five years ago I was VERY financially irresponsible and now I am having trouble opening up a bank account with legit financial institutions. I don't know the name of the service I'm looking for but I am looking for someone to examine all of my credit reports, chex systems report, as well as EWS reports and represent me and take all the appropriate actions so that I can rejoin the financial world as a responsible adult.

Do I contact a debt lawyer? I'm not sure who I should be seeking out for my situation. Any of your input, especially if it's from personal experience here in Houston, is much appreciated.
